Tim Oakes, Club Captain’s Start of Season Message……..

Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all players, socialites and people interested in reading my spiel to a new season and a fresh start.

I believe that last season was a very successful one. We maintained a good league position and always responded well under pressure, which I will endeavour to continue this season.

My key objectives for the season are to maintain high training numbers, to keep a sound balance of youth and experience throughout the first team squad and to win those close, hard fought games with finesse and clean cut clinical skill.

I have played for Sandbach from the age of 8 years old and it is a great honour for me to be selected once again as 1st team Captain for the forthcoming season.
